ALAN MALCHER

Alan Malcher is a social and cultural analyst with interests in the cognitive components associated with asymmetric conflicts and non-linear warfare.

He served with the British army and has a BA in Modern History and an MA in Modern Cultural History from the University of London. For over twenty years, he has written about global defense issues.

After six-year of research, his book ‘SOE: Coordinating Resistance from London’ examines the development of resistance in France during WW2 and was published in May of 2003.

He is interested in the modernization of resistance to form a coherent strategy during modern conflicts and how Political and Economic Warfare fit within a wider narrative strategy.
